Dead Island ships 2 million copies
Copies in short supply in the UK due to high demand
Deep Silver has been jumping for joy as Dead Island has shot straight into the number one slot in the UK all formats chart.
The Techland-developed zombie-RPG has sold been intensely popular with copies now very scarce and unscrupulous retailers charging as much as 47.99 GBP for the game.
The European publisher confirmed that they have now shipped two million copies of Dead Island on all formats even with the problems experienced with the wrong build of the game appearing on Steam.
Dead Island has also been an all format number one hit in North America, France, Spain and Austria.
