Intel plows more money into Gaikai
Cloud gaming company proves to be an attractive investment
The dominant processor producer, Intel has decided to deepen their investment in cloud gaming company, Gaikai.
The service, lead by Dave Perry, is in the process of being rolled out across the world and will offer bespoke game streaming services to the games industry.
This will include things like embedded game demos on websites accessible just like we can experience game trailers just now.
Gaikai is one of seven companies that will benefit from 24 million USD of investment from Intel although the exact breakdown of the investment remains undisclosed.
