Modern Warfare 3 to use dedicated servers on the PC
PC FPS gamers breathe a collective sign of relief
The PC version of Modern Warfare 3 will support dedicated servers on the PC Activision has revealed.

Noah Heller of Activision's Beachhead Studios, the team behind the new Call of Duty Elite social networking service, confirmed that Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer would be reinstating dedicated servers in the PC version of Modern Warfare 3 after controversially ditching them in Modern Warfare 2.
Heller said: "The big announcement today is that we're supporting dedicated servers for PC, which is really cool."
He also gave a little more detail about what they have planned for the Call of Duty Elite service: "We're also doing a console app. So right there on PS3 and 360 you can jump out of the game into the app and communicate with your clan or do whatever you need to do before running back into the game."
