THQ is going through some serious restructuring with their off-road series, MX vs ATV becoming their latest IP to be dropped.

MX vs ATV and THQ's Brisbane and Melbourne studios have joined Red Faction, Warrington and Studios on the growing list of casualties.

Some 200 members of staff will loose their jobs in the continued restructuring but CEO Brian Farrell has confirmed that they will all be eligible to apply for other openings within the company.

Farrell said: "By right-sizing our internal capacities for our console portfolio, our five internal studios are focused on delivering high-quality games with talented teams driving the execution of those titles to market. We will continue to evaluate our capital and resources to concentrate on fast growing digital business initiatives such as social games, mobile and tablet -based digital entertainment."
