UTV Ignition's biblical brawler El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron has been dated for release in Europe.

Konami will be handling the distribution duties in for El Shaddai which features impressively stylish and highly original visuals combined with a very fluid combat system.

Konami president Kunio Neo said: "El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is a colourful and entertaining title that will surprise and delight the player, and we are delighted to be distributing a title of its caliber."

El Shaddai: Ascension launches on and in Europe on September the 8th.
