505 Games has announced that their cage-fighting title Supremacy will also be launching on Sony's new handheld console, the PS Vita.

Packing some exclusive content, the version of the new raw MMA game will be every bit the equal of its heavyweight home console cousins.

505 president Ian Howe said: "Supremacy MMA takes MMA where it's never gone before, with unprecedented brutality and arcade speed, and now it's headed for another new frontier as the sole MMA game to go to handheld in 2011. The arcade-styled gameplay is perfectly suited for quick handheld sessions, and the game looks amazing on Sonys hot new tech."

Supremacy MMA is promised to release on the PS Vita in the autumn which raises more hopes that the the new super-powered handheld will arrive in time for this year.
