Microsoft announces a special edition Star Wars Xbox and Kinect bundle for Kinect Star Wars

R2-D2 sound effects and a 320GB hard drive for the new machine

Microsoft has unveiled a new special edition Xbox 360 and Kinect bundle for the release of Kinect Star Wars.

The bundle will feature a 320GB R2-D2-themed Xbox 360, a white Kinect sensor, a C-3PO themed wireless controller, copies of Kinect Star Wars and Kinect Adventures, a wired headset and some exclusive DLC as well.

The special edition hardware was unveiled at a panel session at this year's San Diego Comic Con.

Microsoft also took the opportunity to show off the new podracing mode for Kinect Star Wars which adds an extra dimension to the game on top of the Jedi mode that debuted at E3.
