Prototype 2 appears at San Diego Comic Con, gets a release date
Activision and Radical set to show off Prototype 2 and give away some unique merchandise
Activision has announced a release window for Prototype 2 just ahead of showing the game off at this year's San Diego Comic Con.
As well as regular stage presentations of the game Activision have a whole host of goodies to give away including a replica of Alex Mercer's leather jacket and a one-of-a-kind custom-skinned Xbox 360.
Studio head of Radical Entertainment, Ken Rosman said: "We know our fans have been clamoring to find out when they would be able to get their hands-on Prototype 2, and the whole studio is excited that we can finally reveal the timing. We're also thrilled to be at the point where we can show the game directly to our fans. It's always rewarding to see those first time reactions to what we've been working on for the past couple years, and we can't wait for them to see some of Sgt. James Heller's amazing new shape-shifting abilities at San Diego Comic-Con."
Prototype 2 is set for release on April the 24th 2012 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
