It seems like only yesterday that id were creating titles like and DOOM but this year celebrate their 20th anniversary.

In honour of this auspicious occasion will be delivering the keynote to this year's QuakeCon on the 4th of August.

This is followed by a panel on the 5th featuring Carmack alongside id's Todd Hollenshead, Tim Willits and Kevin Cloud talking about 20 years of id Software.

QuakeCon runs from August 4th to August 6th at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas.
