E3 2004: Ubisoft confirm impressive line-up
Perhaps their best ever, by our reckoning...
French publisher Ubisoft have every right to be looking forward to this year's E3 with baited breath, the LA showcase looking certain to preview their brightest and most impressive roster of new games in a long time. The titles revealed by the publisher are already looking very ambitious, and we could well see a few more surprises from the firm as the expo approaches.
Without further ado then, here's what we're told to expect: Ghost Recon 2, Brothers in Arms, Prince of Persia 2, Far Cry Instincts, Rainbow Six Black Arrow, Myst IV and Settlers 5. All of sound awesome, and we're particularly looking forward to further goodies on the Persian Prince's new game. Rocky Legends, Pacific Fighters, Silent Hunter III, Playboy The Mansion, The Dukes of Hazzard and Return of the General Lee will also be at the Ubi booth.
"The choice of titles for this year's E3 faithfully reflects Ubisoft's strategy: capitalizing on strong established brands like Prince of Persia, and bold innovation, exploring new segments to build up new brands", enthused President and CEO Yves Guillemot. "Ubisoft expects to take the video game business to new heights, through both its capacity to break new ground and its sheer creative abundance."
