Section 8: Prejudice getting new map pack
TimeGate Studios revealed they will be releasing a brand new map pack for their acclaimed Section 8: Prejudice title called the Frontier Colonies Map Pack.
The pack includes twonew maps to fight over both online and offline. Desolation is a desert world haunted by remains of a failed colonization attempt. The second map is overseer that was home to militaryfacilites overlooking a habitable forest valley. These maps will be playable for all the games multiplayer modes including Conquest, Swarm, Assault and the new mode Skirmish.The map pack will be available for the Xbox 360 for low price of 320 Microsoft Points (3.99 USD) and PC.
Admist this announcement, TimeGate also revealed a new multiplayer Skirmish mode which will appear later this month for the low low price of 0 USD on Playstation Network, Xbox Live Arcade and PC.Skirmish takes players in the 8th Armored Infantry against the Arm of Orion in a team deathmatch with a twist. According to the press release you'll earn Victory Points for kills and completed missions.Control Points are not able to be captured or hacked so you'll have to strategically come up with a new plan to surivive.
You'll be able to download the new map pack on July 13th for Xbox 360 and PC and on July 27th expect more details from TimeGate regarding the free multiplayer mode Skirmish.
