PSN to get fully restored in Japan this week

Japan will finally join the rest of the world this week as Sony has announced that they will be fully restoring PSN.

The Japanese government has been holding up the return of PSN in the country making sure that the new security measures meet their more strict legislation.

PSN was originally turned off on April the 16th and service was returned in Europe and the US at the very end of May. The service will be restored in Japan this Wednesday the 6th of July.

It is estimated that the breach and the consequent shutdown will have cost Sony somewhere in the region of 170 million USD.
