THQ to publish The Witcher 2 on the Xbox 360 in Europe
CD Projekt hoping THQ will make the 360 version as successful as Atari did with the PC version
THQ has announced tha they will be publishing the Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings in Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
The RPG series is developed by Polish developer CD Projekt and was published on the PC by Namco Bandai under their Atari label.
CD Projekt's Adam Badowski said: "Adapting The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Xbox 360 is a massive endeavor for us, and we're committed to delivering one of the most complex and mature games ever to Xbox 360 players. We believe that with the marketing strength and distribution network of THQ we will be able to make the game an incredible success in Europe and around the world."
The Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2 is believed to be out later this year but there is no news on a Playstation 3 version as yet.
