Japanese government still holding up the return of PSN

Japanese PlayStation 3 gamers are still waiting for the return of PSN services and it seems like it won't be returning any time soon.

The Japanese government and credit card companies are still holding up the restoration of services in order to make sure Sony complies with their strict regulations over internet security.

In the most recent communication between Sony and Japanese PS3 owners Sony apologised for the continued delay in returning the services as they are working hard to comply with the requirements of related parties.

While they did not say who the related parties were in the brief statement it is pretty clear that the government has a hand in making sure that PSN is much more secure when it returns.

Thanks Andriasang.
