Mass Effect 3 to get a co-op mode?
Multiplayer mooted for the final entry in BioWare's sci-fi trilogy
Rumour has it that BioWare will be introducing co-op multiplayer into Mass Effect 3 when it arrives next March.

According to a report on Eurogamer
, there will be a four-player co-op for Mass Effect 3 including some competitive elements.
The also reported separate rumours coming out of BioWare Montreal that they are working on multiplayer experiences in the Mass Effect universe either as part of ME3 or as a standalone game adding to the indications of a Mass Effect MMO in the pipline.
BioWare co-founder Dr Ray Muzyka said at E3: "We haven't talked at all about multiplayer in the Mass Effect franchise, but we're exploring multiplayer in all of our games and all of our franchises. It's always an idea we're interested in. The short answer is we have no comment on that. But we're interested in the idea of multiplayer."
Executive producer on the series, Casey Hudson has said previously that they would consider doing an MMO set in the Mass Effect universe once the trilogy is complete.
