id's RAGE delayed until October

Delay to give them more polishing time

Id Software has decided to delay the release of their first new IP in several years in order to add a bit more polish.

RAGE was originally set to come out this September but id has put their foot down saying that the game needs just a bit more work to make it perfect.

The US release of RAGE is now set for the 4th of October with the UK release coming the following Friday, June the 7th.

Bethesda marketing manager Greg Weller said: "We wanted to give it that little extra time to help make it the best experience possible."
