The first Ninja Gaiden game to be made after the departure of series creator Tomonobu Itagaki, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is in development for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
There will also be a special version of game for the Wii U taking advantage of the unique features of Nintendo's new home console.
Development team lead Fumihiko Yasuda explained: "Ninja Gaiden 3 for PS3 and 360 is the base of the Wii U version. Of course, we understood that we would need to implement a particular gameplay experience with Wii U, so we are studying what we can do with that console. We're thinking of different modes and different combat action -- something different."
Thanks Joystiq.
