Having extensive experience of the WWII shooting genre with the Brothers in Arms series Gearbox has some great experience and Pitchford said that Ubisoft had requested a new take on the genre.
The result is Furious 4 and, from the trailer it seems that it has drawn as much from Gearbox's more recent experience on Duke Nukem as it has from their earlier Brothers in Arms titles.
The trailer shows a squad of four allied soldiers wreaking havoc in a bar full of Germans armed with a hatchet. This could be very interesting indeed and will arrive in the first half of 2012.
