Activision has unveiled a brand new social networking tool for Call of Duty players set to launch with Modern Warfare 3 on November the 8th.

Call of Duty Elite will be available to COD fans across web browsers, mobile devices consoles and even from inside Call of Duty games and will offer a range of features allowing players to connect with like-minded folks, form clans and track friends' performances.
It will also introduce more competitive play online with both online and real-life prizes up for grabs for playing and winning at Call of Duty online. It also offers the opportunity to improve your game with dynamic strategy guides and in-depth statistics allowing players to fully analyse every aspect of their game.
There will also be a premium subscription service on offer on Call of Duty Elite that will add extra state-of-the-art features and all-inclusive access to additional game content.
The service will be beta-tested later on this summer on Call of Duty: Black Ops and player interested in seeing exactly what Call of Duty Elite will offer can sign up for the beta on the official Call of Duty website.
