Atlus has announced that they will finally be releasing Persona 2: Innocent Sin in the West 12 years after it first released in Japan.

Shin Megami Tensei fans will be ecstatic to find out that not only will the classic JRPG be released in the West but it has been remastered and optimised to take advantage of the superior visual and audio prowess of the PSP.

The version of Persona 2 will also feature a "sleek new inferface", all-new Climax Theatre side-quests and the choice of original or remixed versions of the game's soundtrack.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2: Innocent Sin will launch in North America on May the 24th but sadly no European date has emerged as yet.
