PSP titles getting the HD/3D treatment for PS3
Monster Hunter Portable 3D coming first
Sony has announced that they will be bringing a selection of classic PSP titles to the PS3 in the same manner as PS2 hits like the God of War Collection and the Sly Cooper Collection.
Beginning with the immensely popular Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, PSP Remasters will sharpen up the visuals and add 3D support as well as additional features and online support, taking full advantage of the PS3's blu-ray disc format and extra power.
Furthermore, save-game data will be easily transferable between the PSP and PS3 versions of the games allowing them a seamless play experience between the two platforms.
So far the PSP Remasters have only been confirmed in Japan, which is understandable given the dominance the PSP is still showing over there.
Thanks MCV.
