Sony has conceded that they still have a way to go before they can begin to roll out their service after it was rocked by a security breach in the middle of April.

The communications chief for Computer Entertainment Europ, Nick Caplin, avoided being pinned down to a date for the return of services on and saying instead that it was still a few days away.

Caplin said: "I know you all want to know exactly when the services will be restored. At this time, I cant give you an exact date, as it will likely be at least a few more days. Were terribly sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through this process."

PSN services have been down since April the 16th and Sony has previously been quoted as saying that full services will not be returned until the 31st of May although some services should return quicker than that.

Thanks MCV.
