US gaming blog Kotaku is reporting that the next Call of Duty title will feature the return of Soap MacTavish and Captain Price in an epic World War III-like scenario.
The story will follow on from the end of Modern Warfare 2 but after the electromagnetic pulse strike it will take a different approach to the Red Dawn-style US invasion scenario used by Kaos for Homefront.
Also, in a first for the series it seems that Infinity Ward in conjunction with Sledgehammer and Raven have managed to introduce destructible environments adding a distinctly Battlefield dimension to the gameplay.
