Wii price drop coming this month
Wii price drops to 129 GBP in the UK and 149 USD in the US
Nintendo has revealed that they will be chopping a huge 50 GBP off the price of the Wii in the UK.
New trade prices and even a new hardware pack mean that the Wii will now fall to around 129 GBP. This includes two packs, a Mario Kart Wii pack that will arrive on May the 20th and the standard Wii Sports Resort Pack.
The Mario Kart Wii pack includes Mario Kart and a wheel instead of the Wii Sports Resort that features in the standard pack.
The US will also see a price cut for the Wii with the new standard pack price coming in at 149 USD.
Nintendo hopes that the new price points will revive the console's flagging sales long enough for them to get Project Cafe ready for public consumption.
