Sony: PSN outage will not affect cloud saves, trophies and data

Sony has confirmed that all PS3 players hard work in building up experience, gaining trophies and even cloud saves will not be affected by the outage.

PSN has now been down since April the 16th but Sony's main PR man in the US Patrick Seybold has confirmed that all PS3 gamer's trophies, cloud saves and other data won't be affected when PSN comes back online.

Seybold also stated that Sony were looking for ways to reward the patience of loyal PS3 gamers when the service returns, hopefully on the 3rd of May.

A Sony statement read: "To thank players for their patience, we will be hosting special events across our game portfolio. We are also working on a 'make good' plan for players of the PS3 versions of DC Universe Online and Free Realms."
