The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings goes gold
Mature PC RPG sequel on track for May release
Namco Bandai has announced that The Witcher 2 has gone gold and is on track to make its release date of May the 17th.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings follows the continuing adventures of the witch hunter Geralt after the end of the first game and building on the series entertaining non-linear narrative with a new more tactical and brutal combat system.
Built of a proprietary new game engine and featuring multiple endings, developer CD Projekt are promising that Assassin's of Kings will be every bit as revolutionary as its predecessor.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will be available to buy on PC only from May the 17th. Console versions of the game are also rumoured to be in development.
