Cohort Studios closes its doors
The Shoot developer fall victim of the tough climate
Yet another Dundee studio has succumbed to the adverse financial climate and closed its doors after a tough year.
Cohort Studios, the team behind Move launch title The Shoot, has announced that they are to close with all 25 staff set to lose their jobs.
The studio has appealed for other developers looking for staff to get in contact so that they give the information to those losing their jobs.
Studio boss Lol Scragg said: "It really is with great sadnessthat we have been left with no alternative but to start winding down. Making all 25 employees redundant isgenuinely heartbreaking. It goes without saying that we wish them all every success, as they really are avery talented team and we are actively trying to seek employment for each and every one of them. As weentered 2011, we have looked to change the direction of our business but unfortunately we ran out of time."
Cohort's final title, MeMonstar: Hear Me Roar is due to be released soon as a PlayStation Mini.
