F1 2011 announced on the back of the F1 2010 BAFTA win

New Formula One game racing in for the autumn

Codemasters has celebrated their BAFTA win for F1 2010 by announcing the release date for this year's version.

The British-based racing games specialist will be launching F1 2011 on September the 23rd in the UK on PS3, PC and Xbox 360 allowing racing fans to join in the fun as the actual F1 season reaches its climax.

This season will see the debut of the Indian Grand Prix hosted at the brand new Jaypee International Race Circuit in Dehli as well as Formula 1's return to Germany's challenging Nurburgring circuit.

Last year's effort F1 2010, scooped the BAFTA for Best Sports Game at 2010's BAFTA award ceremony held in London earlier this month.
