Homefront issues to be fixed very soon THQ promises
Xbox patch coming within two days, PS3 patch following soon
THQ has promised that patches will be released beginning in the next day or two in order to repair the issues many gamers are experiencing with Homefront.
Patches to fix the console versions of Homefront have to be approved by Sony and Microsoft before they are released but the Xbox patch is due to come out of certification in a day or two with the POS3 patch going to Sony as soon as it is ready.
THQ stated on the game's official blog: "We are also including a fix for multiplayer connectivity and ping time issues, where players are being sent to distant server locations at the expense of performance. We expect this update to be submitted to Microsoft really soon and we will be working with them very closely to get this approved and deployed as quickly as possible."
The post added: "Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this process. We apologise for the inconvenience to your Homefront Multiplayer experience and are working 24/7 to make it as enjoyable as possible!"
Thanks Eurogamer.
