Zenimax Online Studios set up shop in Ireland
More fuel for the UK tax incentives fire
Zenimax Online Studios has announced that they will be setting up a new operation in Ireland.
The new facility is to be set up for customer support for future MMOs that the studios are planning and will potentially create hundreds of jobs over the next few years.
President of Zenimax Online Studios, Matt Firor said: "Today's announcement marks an important step for us. We are excited to be building an experienced team, led by Rich, which will focus on providing superior customer support for our games. Galway has world-class educational facilities, is a beautiful place to work and live, and offers a wide variety of benefits for our employees. Our ability to provide superior customer service for our future products is firmly on track."
Zenimax's choice to set up shop in Ireland was heavily influenced by the incentives offered by IDA Ireland, the Irish Government inward investment agency once again adding weight to arguments for industry incentives in the UK.
