Runescape developer has scored a contract with Hasbro to build an based around the universe.

Jagex are preparing their new Transformers MMO for launch internationally in 2012.

Mark Gerhard, CEO of Jagex said: "Transformers is one of the most iconic brands in the world and we are delighted to team up with Hasbro in order to bring our shared vision to reality."

He added: "There is a huge appetite for an Transformers game and we will utilize every bit of our and publishing expertise to deliver a dynamic and action-packed game."
