Dance Hero escaped the cull at Activision?
Music games not completely dead at Activision...
Activision may not have killed all their music base titles carrying the Hero moniker.
On the back of the huge success Ubisoft are seeing with the Just Dance series and warm reception for Harmonix' Dance Central, Acti's Dance Hero may still be in production.
According to Kotaku, Dance Hero, which was copyrighted back in 2008, escaped the music games cut experienced by Guitar Hero and DJ Hero and may even feature songs like Out of Space by The Prodigy, 2012 by Jay Sean (featuring Nincki Minaj), The Way I Are by Timbaland (featuring Keri Hilson and DOE) and Take Over Control by Afrojack (featuring Evan Simon).
Activision has yet to respond to the rumours and there is not even any hint of where the game is being developed and what platforms it is development for.
