Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC arrives on PS3 today

PC version still some weeks off

Activision has now managed to release the first pack of DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops on the PS3.

PlayStation 3 owners have been forced to wait for the First Strike map pack because of the two-year timed exclusive deal that Microsoft has Activision over the DLC for the Call of Duty series.

The other handicap that PlayStation 3 owners will experience with the DLC is that it is more expensive on PSN than it is on Xbox Live. The PSN price of the pack is 10.99 GBP whereas the Xbox Live price is 1200 MS points or 9.99 GBP.

PC gamers will have to continue to wait as the pack is not due out for them until the end of March, again probably at 10.99 GBP.
