Iwata disappointed with the performance of WiiWare and DSiWare
Spot Pass to sort this out on the 3DS
Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, has admitted that their download services have not performed as well as they would have hoped.
He noted in his keynote speech at this week's GDC that neither WiiWare or DsiWare have performed up to expectations.
Iwata confessed: "To date, our WiiWare and DSiWare services have not operated as well as they should have."
With the 3DS Nintendo has taken measures to turn this around with the new Spot Pass service which gives 3DS users free access to Wi-Fi hotspots run by US partners AT&T and UK partners BT through their Openzone service.
