Test Drive Unlimited 2's first downloadable content, called The Exploration Pack, will be free.

In an effort to appease fans upset about the game's many bugs, and as an apology that the patches have taken so long to implement, the is a kind of 'thanks for being patient' present.

"We really appreciate your patience in this matter and we would like to announce that we will be making the first premium DLC for the game free for everybody as a way of saying thank you," a statement from the developer reads.

The Exploration Pack contains a number of wrecks dotted around the environment, which will unlock a Lancia Stratos version Rallye and a 1969 Dodge Charger.

The patch for the version is live now. The console versions, meanwhile, in certification at and Sony. They're expected to "follow shortly".
