Ubisoft has revealed that they have relaxed their unpopular system for the release of the version of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

They have removed the requirement for players to have a live connection to the internet while playing the game even in single player mode.

This will be a relief for PC fans who had to endure the controversial DRM measures which were introduced with the PC release Assassin's Creed II last year.

Players will now be able to play the single player mode of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood without needing a live internet connection which suggests that the game's saves will now be stored on the player's PC as well as in storage as was the case with the original DRM measures.
