I Am Alive will arrive as a download-only title?
Post apocalyptic shooter due this year
Ubisoft's Jade Raymond has said that they will be releasing the much delayed shooter I Am Alive as a downloadable title.
Raymond told French games site Jeux Video that the game was scheduled for a 2011 release as a download only.
This may explain at least in part why the game has been so long in coming. Ubisoft head Yves Guillemot had said that the game, which had development transferred from their Paris Darkworks studio to Ubisoft Shanghai, was totally re-engineered at one point.
While Raymond said that it was due this calendar year Ubisoft has yet to reveal an official release date or even confirmation of whether or not the game will be download only. As ever, when we'll let you know as soon as we find out more.
