No mod tools for PC version of Homefront
Not yet anyway...
THQ, Kaos and Digital Extremes have revealed details of the PC version of upcoming shooter Homefront and it looks like the PC modding community may be a little disappointed.
In a post on the official Homefront website they explained that the PC version of the game will not ship with any kind of modding tools although they may be introduced some time after launch if the demand is there.
The post stated : "Right now the team is hammering away at the game, building those tools for Community use would take away resources that are needed on the final game. The good thing is: Mod Tools dont need to be in a box, so if the PC Community is supporting Homefront, we have the option post-ship to provide the Community with something like that."
The new post also confirmed that the online multiplayer modes for the PC would "definitely" be supported by dedicated servers.
