Sony discussing bringing downloadable PSP games to NGP
Free if you've already bought them
Sony Computer Entertainment bigwig Kaz Hirai has revealed that the company is speaking to developers about bringing downloadable PSP games to the recently-announced New Generation Portable.
The intention is that owners of PlayStation Portable games will also be able to download their PSP games to NGP for free, within PSN's download limits.
Hirai has also said that boxed NGP games will come on a custom memory card format with free, rewritable space to allow the storage of download data.
Common or garden memory cards will also be supported, though the extent of that "support" has not yet been stated. Video output, meanwhile, won't be possible.
Thanks Andriasang.
