Over a third of Kinect games made in the UK
And almost a third of Move titles too
UKIE has highlighted the strong presence of British development talent in both Sony and Microsoft's ranges of motion controlled titles.
According to the data from Gfk ChartTrack, 42 percent of Kinect games and 30 percent of Move games were developed in UK studios.
Rare has been heavily involved in Kinect development producing the high-selling Kinect Sports and Frontier developed the cute pet sim Kinectimals. Move titles produced in the UK includes Cohort's The Shoot and MediaMolecule's massive new release LittleBigPlanet 2.
UKIE director general Michael Rawlinson said: "The array of strong products that our home-grown, UK talent is producing is something we can all be proud of. This just shows how our UK developer base remains one of the best in the world, and can continue to step up to the plate as the market develops and platforms evolve."
