PSP 2 to feature 3G functionality
Details have emerged of the new PSP 2 which Sony is rumoured to be announced later this week and is supposedly set for release by the end of the year.
According to the Japanese news service Nikkei (translated via Andriasang) the PSP 2 will feature the ability to access online gaming services through a 3G connection as well as through that standard wireless LAN connection.
The new handheld will also feature a larger than standard OLED touch screen making the console capable of handling high definition graphics.
The PSP 2 is expected to be announced at a press conference on the 27th of January when, hopefully, all will be revealed.
