Kotick: Treyarch didn't get their due
Black Ops dev did a lot of work on multiplayer on previous titles
Bobby Kotick, president of Activision has come out in support of their much maligned new lead developer on the Call of Duty franchise, Treyarch.
Kotick told CNN that Treyarch had developed a lot of the multiplayer elements themselves including those in Modern Warfare and that they hadn't got their dues.
He began: "Multiplayer has been largely developed by Treyarch. I don't think Treyarch got their due for how much they contributed in the production and polish to the multiplayer."
Treyarch has taken over the lead development on the Call of Duty series after the departure of the series creators Jason West and Vince Zampella from Infinity Ward.
