Bobby Kotick, president of has come out in support of their much maligned new lead developer on the franchise, Treyarch.

Kotick told CNN that had developed a lot of the elements themselves including those in and that they hadn't got their dues.

He began: "Multiplayer has been largely developed by Treyarch. I don't think Treyarch got their due for how much they contributed in the production and polish to the multiplayer."

Treyarch has taken over the lead on the Call of Duty series after the departure of the series creators Jason West and Vince Zampella from Infinity Ward.
