Battlefield 1943 nets EA a cool 16 million USD
Still no PC version though
The console-based spiritual sequel to the online FPS that started it all for DICE, Battlefield 1943 has been an impressive success.
As part of his speech to the UBS's Annual Media and Communications Conference EA's chief financial officer Eric Brown revealed that the game had made the publisher an easy 16 million USD.
The sales were made more impressive by Brown's confession that the game cost "single-digit millions" to develop.
PC fans were left out in the cold though as despite the success of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions the PC version is yet to materialise.
Thanks 1UP.
