Dead Space 2 demo coming for Christmas
Fans get 5 weeks to try before they buy
EA has confirmed the rumours from the weekend that a demo would be incoming for Dead Space 2.
The demo was hinted at over the weekend by the game's producer Steve Papoutsis and will arrive on December the 21st with European PS3 gamers getting it on the 22nd.
Papoutsis said: "The holidays are a great time to enjoy all forms of entertainment, and we can't wait to give horror and action adventure gamers a taste of what awaits them in Dead Space 2. Releasing the demo five weeks before launch will not only re-connect players with our hero Isaac Clarke, but will also give them the opportunity to experience firsthand various jaw-dropping scenarios. It's gonna be awesome."
Dead Space 2 will arrive on January the 28th for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC with the PS3 version featuring a bonus of a Move enabled HD version of Dead Space Extraction.
