Sony warns of Move shortages for Christmas
Sony undersetimated demand for their new motion controllers
Sony has released an official warning that Move will be in short supply over the Christmas period.
SCEA's marketing VP Peter Dille explained to MCV that they had underestimated the demand for Move controllers and were having trouble keeping up with sales.
Dille said: "Sony misjudged the demand for the stand-alone Move controllers. That bodes well for the holiday selling season. We have a catch-up problem in all three territories that will last until January or February."
GAME stores in the UK are already experiences shortages of Move controllers and Starter Packs with many stores either running low of completely out of stock and no more stock available at the main warehouse for now.
