Test Drive Unlimited 2 gets a US release date

Just clear of the GT5 fallout zone...

Atari has cunningly sought to dodge the Gran Turismo 5 bullet in announcing their new release date for Test Drive Unlimited 2's release date.

The follow up to Eden's excellent racer will now arrive in the first week in February giving gamers plenty of time to digest Gran Turismo 5 before hopefully moving on to Test Drive Unlimited 2.

The official date given for the US release is the 8th of February which is a Tuesday UK gamers can probably expect Test Drive Unlimited to arrive on the following Friday, February the 11th, making the perfect Valentine for petrolheads.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
