Kinect sparks John Carmack's interest

Id Software's John Carmack has said that he is interested in seeing what he can do with Kinect.
Despite motion control not being a good fit for the kind of titles that they usually do Carmack explained to Joystiq that he is itching to do a Kinect title for Xbox Live as they are a perfect fit in his mind.
He said: "I have an itch to make a Kinect title for Xbox Live. I don't even know what I'd want to do yet."
Carmack explained: "I can't use Kinect for our real games; there just isn't a place for our current FPSes on there. But it's an interesting technology, and an Xbox Live game would be the perfect platform to do something like that on, at about the same scale of [a game for] an iOS device."
