Operation Flashpoint: Red River teased more with a new trailer
To Johnny Cash no less
Codemasters has decided to tease military FPS fans with a new live action/cgi trailer that sets the scene for the next entry in the series.
The trailer shows two Super Stallion troop helicopters sweeping in over the Vakhsh River with the squads inside gearing up for an assault all to the tune of Johnny Cash's When A Man Comes Around.
While the trailer doesn't show and in-game footage yet it does set the scene for what Codemasters is hoping to be the most intense military experience yet.
The game's creative director, Sion Lenton said: "Our goal is to take gamers as close to the experience of being a US Marine as possible, in both single-player and co-op. From the tactics Marines use to the weapons they deploy and even the way that they interact with each other, this objective is core to everything that goes in the game. Its this laser focus that ensures Red River will stand apart from tired corridor shooters and immerse players in a rewarding, tactical theatre of war."
The trailer is available to view on the game's official Facebook page.
