While is heavily supporting its upcoming peripheral with an extensive marketing push, analysts predict the device should sell similarly to Sony's less promoted controller.

Wedbush Morgan's told IndustryGamers that for the two consoles were likely to be neck and neck, both through the end of fiscal 2010 and calendar 2011.

"Many investors question whether the launches of Move and Kinect will help the publishers sell more software in 2011. We expect each to sell as many as 5 million units by March 31, and expect the installed base for each to grow to over 10 million units by year-end 2011," Pachter predicted.

In October, executives revealed that Sony's PlayStation Move has sold more than 3 million unites globally.
