After failing miserably the first time with their new skateboard controller has come back again with the franchise with a new title aimed at a younger audience.

The latest game to bear the name of the best known pro-skater faceplanted into stores today with Tony Hawk: Shred.

The much-maligned skateboard controller makes a return in Tony Hawk: Shred But this time the original skate franchise is branching out a little bit.

In return for Ubisoft's Shawn White series dabbling in Tony Hawk: Shred also gives players the opportunity to try their hand at as well as the trademark skate action.
